From airport Palermo Punta Raisi to Cefalu':

By car: Coming out of the main exit of the arrival terminal there is a bus stop for the 'navetta' (shuttle) that takes you to the rental car companies. From there follow the motorway signs for Palermo, going through the whole city. Then follow signs for Messina. At one point the motorway will be splitting into signs for Messina and Catania. Keep to the left signposted 'Messina'. Shortly after you will come to a toll gate to collect a ticket. After approx. 15 km you will find the exit to Cefalu'. Please make sure to have EU 1.- on you for the toll charge. Leave the motorway at the Cefalu' turn off, then take a right at the junction following signs to Cefalu' and Messina (SS 113). Then staying on the main road, drive all the way through the town of Cefalu'. This road will lead up the hill. Keep on following signs to Messina SS113, which will become a coastal road. After 5 km watch out for the sign-post on the right for Sant'Ambrogio. Drive all the way up to the village.
